Changes to the 2nd Run
Service Update
Due to rising costs, second run afternoon deliveries will be subject to a $35 charge as of December 1st. To avoid 2nd run charges, place your order by midnight the night before your desired delivery day or by accepting the delivery prior to 12 noon. If you are not at your establishment prior to noon, we would be happy to arrange unattended deliveries for you, should you choose.

Swordfish

Swordfish supplies have been scare, causing prices to rise as a result. We have seen only limited supply this week.
Specialty Items

Caviar season is upon us. While we always have Hackleback available, we are able to bring in many other types including Oscetra and Siberian Sturgeon. In general we need a 1 day pre-order. Email us at sales@lobsterplace.com for more details.
Cod and Ground Fish

Most North Atlantic fish like Cod, Hake and Monk are in steady supply, thought availability of Halibut has dropped considerably this past week. Hopefully Halibut will rebound soon.
Live Lobster

Lobster prices remain high and sadly, at this time there is no end insight. Much of the continued high price is being caused by processors who are continuing to buy large quantities to produce meat and frozen tails as well as increase demand overseas.
Scallops

Martha's Vineyard Bay Scallops are back! A truly delicious sign of the colder weather, we are starting to see availability of Martha's Vineyard bay scallops. Everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy these delectable sweet scallops.
