Wild and Farmed Salmon
- Despite high demand, Canadian Salmon prices are starting to lower. Conversely, European Salmon prices are on the rise
- Wild Sockeyes are done for the season but Wild Kings are as cheap as they get at the moment and Cohos are starting to arrive as well.
Tuna
- Tuna supply remains low but we are starting to see relief in the prices. Hopefully this will be the trend. We will have fish available from Costa Rica, Barbados and Brazil for this weekend.
Cod and Ground Fish
- Most north and mid Atlantic fish have remained in steady supply including Black Bass and Fluke. The one exception is Wild Striped Bass which has been challenging to find this past week.
- Hurricane Ida wreaked havoc in the Gulf earlier this week which made Red Snapper completely NA.
Clams, Mussels, & Oysters
- Montauk Pearls remain offline. They are currently working on building up their stock. It is unclear for how long this hiatus will last.
- Walrus & Carpenters are also offline due to supply levels and labor issues. Hopefully this will be resolved quickly.
- Supplies of Beau Soleil are starting to rebound.
