As vaccines become more common and fear diminishes it is time to celebrate with the harbingers of spring like Shad Roe and Crawfish. - NY legal size Striped Bass has been readily available over this past week.
- Skrei Cod has been unavailable this past week due to Easter.
- We are starting to see small amounts of Spanish Mackerel after if dried up early this week.
- Halibut has become limited over the past few days, it should loosen up next week.
Live Lobster
- Lobster prices have gone up again. Supply remains consistent.
Specialty Items
- Soft Shell Crabs are starting to rear their heads. There have been limited supply of Whales and Jumbos. Currently they are $8/EA.
Scallops
- Prices on U10 and 10/20 Scallops remain high. We expect to see some relief over the next few weeks as more areas open to fishing.
Clams, Mussels, & Oysters
- Beau Soleil Oysters remain limited, we are bringing in a Little Shemogue as an alternative. Though they have less name recognition than their Beau Soleil neighbors, they are a similar size and share many flavor characteristics.
