Meet Montaraz

The only Iberico Jamon you should be serving.

If you are not familiar with Montaraz Iberico Jamon , then you are missing out. Montaraz is a 4th generation family-owned company with their own pastured raised herd of 100% Iberico Pigs based out of Salamanca Spain. We are carrying two lines. The first, Cebo de Campo, is free-range pigs who wonder the Spanish countryside getting fat on grains, grass, and the occasion acorn. The second option we are carrying, their most premium, Jamon Iberico de Bellota, gets its name from the enormous volume of bellota (acorns) that the pigs consume during acorn season which allows the jamon to become deep red in color and well marbled. Montaraz is part of the DOP Extremadura, which means that every step is monitored to ensure that rigorous quality controls are followed.

Oh- and did we mention there are only two ingredients in Montaraz Jamon? Iberico Jamon and sea salt.

Bordier Butter

As we have previously mentioned, Bordier is experiencing production issues and is unable to fully fill orders or take on new customers. However, we are very excited to be bringing on Beillevaire. Stay tuned for more information soon.

Antipodes Water

We have finally received word that Antipodes will be available to sell by 10/20.

Crab

The pasteurized crabmeat market remains tight. The supply chain is still suffering due to covid and the effects it is having globally on transportation, labor, and supply.

Fresh crabmeat has stabilized but remains expensive.

Live Lobster

Live Lobster prices have remained high in price. Unfortunately, there is no real end in sight got relief on pricing. Processors are still buying large quantities to make meat and frozen tails. Increased demand overseas is also contributing as many countries lift Covid restrictions.
